Tonight's Rush show in Paris was cancelled due to a fire at the venue, but Max Webster weren't planning on being on the gig - they performed Paradise Skies on the famed variety program called "Top of the Pops." The BBC's stipulations were that the backing tracks had to be recorded in the UK (performances on the show were all mimed), so the band recorded a new version of the song at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.

For a brief moment the band had some notoriety in the UK, with an appearance on this popular show and Paradise Skies being a medium hit that sold nearly 200,000 copies.
