Max Webster laid down most of the bed tracks and vocals for their debut album between May 4-8, 1975 at Terry Brown's studio Toronto Sound. The only song on the album not tracked during these sessions was Only Your Nose Knows (it would be recorded on September 18).
Hot Spots, Overnight Sensation and Marmalade Mama were also recorded (the lattermost would never be released, while the others eventually ended up on the Diamonds Diamonds compilation in 1981).
