I saw Max in 1975 the first time as a 20 year-old young drummer and I was absolutely gobsmacked at how good they were. I walked in and beginning of a set at the Gasworks and they started with Lily! And they went into Peaches en Regalia by Zappa. I walked out of there stunned at how great these guys were. Kim was so outrageous and unique.
