I saw Max in their earliest days, dating back to 1973 at the Thornhill Country Club. I am a guitarist, so I was immediately taken by Kim's talent. Too many years and too many shows have passed to remember too many specifics, but I remember them as a tight band who enjoyed playing with each other who, for lack of a better description, were quite "quirky" when it came to their appearance on stage. Not the classic rockers of the day...and that made them all the more special.
