Gregg Lamarsh

Kim was clearly unhappy about something, so to break the ice and move the conversation forward, our tech, Al Robb, said, "So Kim, where's the next big gig?" Al meant 'big gig' in terms of say, a British tour or whatever. Kim looked straight at us and fairly spat, "Big gig? What 'big gig'?" Kim meant that management had really dropped the ball when it came to promoting Max in a fully proper way. God, I felt for Kim at that point. He was the real deal, with more talent than most, and yet still found himself in that predicament. Both the Hunter Thompson statement plus the April Wine lyric ("Rock n' roll is a vicious game") applied just then and there.
