I remember the final end of the year concert when we had Max and Abraham's Children playing a double header. I wasn't too pleased as I tried to change things because Max had to come on first because Abraham's Children recorded an album. We were known in Ottawa as having the best bands to our school.
We had a huge hallway because it was supposed to be a dance. I found that funny because it was never a dance, and we had a large auditorium which bands played but never Max. The fun thing about the large hallway was people could move around. We once took a table and put it against the wall beside Jon's soundboard and put chairs on the table so we could sit and see Max perform.
Kim asked me if he could use one of the classrooms by himself with the door shut so he could practice on his guitar before the gig that night. The sound that came out of that room was incredible. There was only a couple of us around and we just stared at each other with amazement.
